TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A group of men stole a phone during an assault on the University of Arizona campus and posted selfies on the victim's SnapChat account, authorities said.

The assault happened around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, in the 920 block of East 4th Street, which is just north of Kaibab/Huachuca Hall.

The UA Police Department said the victim reported he and a friend were walking on the sidewalk when a dark-colored SUV pulled up next to them.

According to the UAPD, all five men in the vehicle got out and one of the suspects assaulted the victim and took his cell phone.

The suspects later posted selfies on the victim's SnapChat account, the UAPD said in a news release.

Four of the suspects have been described as Hispanic teens while the driver of the SUV has been described as being in his 30s.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911, 88-CRIME or the UAPD at 520-621-8477.
